Slancio is a lead management service for personal trainers, operated by PeerStudy LLC ("Slancio," "we," "us"), a New Jersey limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Slancio mobile app, the slancio.fit website, and the public trainer pages and intake forms we host.
From trainers (our account holders). When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (handled by Google Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your password itself). You may also add profile information such as your name, photo, tagline, specialties, and booking link, which appears on your public Slancio page.
From leads (people who contact a trainer). When someone fills out a trainer's Slancio intake form, we collect the information they submit: their name, their phone number or email address, and their message. We collect and store this information on behalf of the trainer they contacted, so that trainer can respond to them.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. We receive confirmation of payment and the email address associated with it so we can activate your subscription.
Automatically. Like most apps, our infrastructure providers log basic technical information such as IP address, device type, and timestamps when the app or our pages are used.
What we don't do: we do not sell your information or your leads' information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not contact your leads for our own purposes. Your leads are yours.
We share information only with the service providers that make Slancio work:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Slancio, our users, or others.
When a trainer taps Send, the message is delivered through the trainer's own phone (Messages) or email app — not through Slancio's systems. Trainers are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact their leads and for complying with applicable messaging laws.
We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app — this deletes your account, your trainer page, and all of your stored leads. Leads who want their information removed can ask the trainer they contacted, or email us at slanciofit@gmail.com and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these, email slanciofit@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Data is stored with Google Firebase and protected by industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Slancio is intended for adults. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify trainers in the app or by email.
